All the projects of BAA are designed, planned and implemented with a strong focus on the quadruple helix concept where the local government, private companies, academia, and NGOs work together to support substantial changes in the thematic areas in which BA operates as an innovator – entrepreneurship support, social innovations, one-stop-shop services, skills uplift, and digital transformation. BAA has developed more than 20 specific innovative packages of tools and products aiming towards innovations in business, ICT use in business, innovative services for SMEs provision, skills uplift. They aimed to increase the utilization of ICT and technological innovations and assist in the development, delivery, and use of innovative digital services.
