International Initiatives for Cooperation (IIC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2003 promoting intercultural dialogue and cooperation among the civil society through local, regional and international projects. The association is based in Razlog, Bulgaria and has offices in Spain (Letur & Galicia) and Mexico. At a local level, IIC implements non-formal education activities to contribute to the cultural and social development of the communities. The association hosts international volunteers (Youth - EVS, ESC & adults), interns and job-shadowers. It also delivers training courses, youth exchanges and youth events. At a regional and international level, IIC collaborates with partners from all over the world to undertake cross-borders projects about responsible citizenship, sustainable development and intercultural dialogue that empower the civil society. As Anna Lindh Foundation head of network for Bulgaria, IIC coordinates more than 160 organizations that are part of this organization.
