AMSB - Sofia carries out its activities to achieve the following objectives: 1. Pooling of medical students in Sofia, regardless of their political, religious and national identity in order to democratize the learning process; 2. Improving qualifications and raising the social status of medical students; 3. Exchange of information, analysis, compilation and publication of the problems of medical training and coordination of efforts to deal with them; 4. Organizing international student exchange; 5. Representation in government bodies and public organizations of the social problems of medical students and seeking assistance to solve them; 6. Defend the rights and legitimate interests of medical students;; 7. Provide comprehensive assistance in the implementation of individual and collective initiatives of medical students in accordance with this Bylaws. Means to achieve the AMSB - Sofia are: 1. Membership in national and international professional and student organizations; 2. Promoting the objectives of the Association before the state bodies and public organizations, the bodies of the University and the society; 3. Collect information about studying in Sofia, in Bulgaria and abroad, international exchange, the problems of medical students and the publication of the collected information; 4. Organizing sessions and seminars; 5. Organizing and participating in trainings, internships and fellowships; 6. Seeking assistance and involvement of consultants and experts to support the activities of the association.
