Bulgarian-Chinese Business Development Association was founded in 2010 in Plovdiv, the second largest city in Bulgaria. The main objectives are as follows: 1. Encouragement of commercial and industrial relations between the two countries 2. Provision of information and advice to the Bulgarian exporters as concerned to the Chinese market, as well as Chinese exporters as concerned to the Bulgarian market 3. Provision of information and advice to prospective investors regarding the investment opportunities in China as well as in Bulgaria 4. Provision of information and advices to companies from the two countries regarding the establishment of joint ventures The Municipality of Plovdiv and our association concluded a special agreement for cooperation in attracting and promotion of Chinese investments on regional and national level at the exchange of experience between the two countries in the field of education, culture and art. Bulgarian-Chinese Business Development Association is also a partner of Municipality of Maritsa and InvestBulgaria Agency. The initiative of our association also received ardent support from Embassy of the People`s Republic of China in Bulgaria. The Ambassador Yezhou Guo and the Economic and Commercial Counselor Kehua Yuan have been presented as our special guests during numbers of our organized events. Moreover, our association has been working with Sienit Holding Jsc. – one of the biggest construction and investment group in Bulgaria over the years in infrastructure and industrial construction areas. Some other enterprises which we also have the pleasure to have worked with and be partners are : Ferrero, Moto Phoe, Liebherr Hausgerate, Kaufland and many others. We have supported the realisation of investment plans from numerous foreign investors in the sphere of industrial – commercial relations, different types of real estate, as well as the existing and operating plants and factories in the energy sector, tourism etc.
