NordStudeo Language School was established in September, 2001 as the first private school in Bulgaria specialized in the field of the Germanic languages. Since then we organize courses for adults in German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian, divided in 4 levels (beginner, intermediate, higher intermediate, advanced). Later on we expanded our activity by including in our program conversation courses and specialized courses in these same languages. Later on we started offering Bulgarian language courses to foreigners from the respective countries which are held in the mother tongue of the learners. Among our students there has been a group of employees from the Royal Danish Embassy and from the Embassy of Sweden, both learning Bulgarian, and a group from the Royal Netherlands Embassy, learning Dutch. Because of the big interest for our courses, since we continue to be the only private school offering high quality language courses in these languages, we started offering distance Internet courses for those who do not live in Sofia or do not have the opportunity to visit our regular courses. In November 2004 we started our course in Finnish language. Our teachers are professionals who teach at the University of Sofia. In the higher levels we have teachers from the respective countries so that our students have the possibility to be trained by a native speaker. We use the newest education systems and besides we have our own manuals and grammar-books. We can proudly say that our students are very happy and satisfied and we find this very rewarding. Our ambition is to turn the school into a kind of a club, where our former and present students can meet, see movies and make use of our library.
