Two of its main goals are developing the local commercial animation industry and bringing talented professionals back to Bulgaria by creating new jobs and providing exciting projects for them to work on. The most recognizable project of studio Zmei is The Golden Apple – the first animated series based on Bulgarian folklore, which is currently in negotiations for funding of Season 1. Presently the studio is part of a big international collaboration - the animated series “I, Elvis Riboldi” that will be aired worldwide on Cartoon Network and Disney Channel. In 2020 studio Zmei will continue its growth, working on original productions, as well as looking for new, exciting projects and partnerships.
