Read and write reviews about Обединени идеи за България / United Ideas for Bulgaria. United Ideas for Bulgaria (UIB) is a non-profit organisation supporting social entrepreneurship in Bulgaria. The organisation was founded in 2011 by inspired young Bulgarians with education and experience abroad and is officially registered as a not-for-profit organisation in Bulgaria. As a functioning international network, United Ideas for Bulgaria supports its members and followers both in Bulgaria and abroad in exploring innovative ideas for social challenges facing Bulgaria. The organisation is headquartered in Sofia and maintains active regional communities in Germany and the UK. United Ideas for Bulgaria's main project is a discussion forum, entitled „We Are the Ideas”, which takes place annually on 3-6 September. Over 150 Bulgarians studying in the country and abroad take part in the conference with the mutual goal of identifying pressing issues from the political, economic and social spheres. Divided into teams, lead by experienced moderators, the young participants develop targeted social projects in the following areas: Cultural Development, Education, Ecology and Welfare. Over the past 4 years the organization has supported over 1500 young Bulgarians in delivering value through social entrepreneurial initiatives. Successful projects from the conference include "Treatment without borders"​ (http://www.lekuvam.se/), "Taratanci"​ (http://taratanci.com/en/), "Pravodach"​, (https://pravodach.com/) and "CoShare"​ (https://cosharebee.wordpress.com/) among others. Other projects of United Ideas for Bulgaria include: - The "Social Entrepreneurship Academy"​, - Online competition for Social Entrepreneurship "Ideinik"​ - Teaching Social Entrepreneurship at the School of Business Management at Sofia University - CoArting coworking space, and others.
